Board of Education Special Meeting/Welcome

The Board of Education of USD #331 met on January 22, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. for a special meeting.  President Allen Young called the meeting to order and a waiver of written notice was signed.

Executive Session

The board went into executive session to discuss personnel matters for non-elected personnel.

Consideration of Contracts  (Licensed and/or Classified)

The board approved a contract for Scott Carter as superintendent of Kingman-Norwich Unified School District #331 beginning July 1, 2007.

Discussion of Board of Education Positions
 

The board discussed the board of education positions that were up for election.  At this time the following people have filed.

Position 2         Jon Wollen

Position 3         Mike Maloney

Position 4         Joyce Miller

Position 7         Harold Forcum and Michelle Wortham

The deadline for filing is January 23, 2007 at noon.
