Scanning An Image Into PowerPoint

 

-         You can scan an image into PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Publisher by using these steps.

 

  1. Begin by opening up the Office 2000 program that you want to use.
  2. Go to Insert => Picture => From Scanner or Camera.

 

 

  1. At the Insert Picture from Scanner or Camera Window, make sure the HP PrecisionScan 1.01 is selected and click the Custom Insert button.

 


 

  1. Wait patiently for the scanning software to load.
  2. Once the HP PrecisionScan Software loads click the Scan button.

 

 

  1. Wait while the scanner scans the image.
  2. When it is finished take your cursor and drag around the area you wish to scan.  When you are finished click the Accept button.

 

 

  1. The image will then be transferred into PowerPoint.
