The Principal

The Superintendent

Mrs. Melissa Hodson is in her 4th year as a full time Principal in our district. Before coming to Norwich  she taught for 7 years at Anthony Elementary, and 1 year at Haysville Rex Elementary.  Mrs. Hodson interned as an administrator at Anthony for 2 years and Haysville for 1 year. She is  now responsible for the Elementary and Junior High students at Norwich Schools. One of the incentives she has started at our school is the "Good Students" of the week program. Every Friday students are chosen, and report to Mrs. Hodson's  office for a small treat. At the end of each month  those same students are awarded an ice cream party.

Mr. Don Mason has served the Kingman-Norwich Unified School District for many years as a teacher and administrator. His first job after college was at Kingman High School in which he taught a wide variety of subjects, ranging from science to photography. In 1984 he was honored with the "Master Teacher" award by Emporia State University. After teaching for 30 years, his first administrative position was assistant superintendent. He filled that position for 10 years before taking on the roll of superintendent. He became the superintendent for USD 331 in 2002, and is currently serving his 4th year.
