NEW USD 331 Kingman-Norwich Parent & Spectator Admission Rules
By action by the KSHSAA Board of Directors, the following was approved January 20, 2021 pertaining to parents attendance at games and activities:
Beginning January 29 until the end of the winter activities regular season this school year, a maximum of four spectators per participant will be permitted to attend with appropriate social distancing required. Local school districts may choose to have stricter limitations based on seating and local health department guidelines.
Some local school districts that Kingman High and Middle and Norwich High and Middle Schools play may choose to have stricter limitations based on seating and local health department guidelines. Several have stated they will limit seating to 2 per participant. Our 331 plan is to follow KSHSAA guidelines and limit to 4 per participant unless we have a spike in COVID cases that would cause us to have to decrease the number of spectators.
Spectators, support staff, and all others attending/participating in school activities shall wear a face covering Mask Properly with mouth and NOSE covered, in the manner it is intended to be worn (for purpose of COVID-19 risk mitigation) while at the event venue and for the duration of the event.
An approved spectator is a family member, local student body, local staff members, and local community members.
A Pass-holder must still pay admission if it is charged.
Admission will be charged for Varsity events.
No outside food or drink will be allowed in the gymnasiums.
No Concession stands will be open in Kingman or Norwich.
Temperature checks will be required
It is encouraged that parents leave once their child is done competing/performing for the day or evening.
Live streaming of events will be broadcast at our home games and at most of the schools we play.
PLEASE NOTE: Postseason (Substate & State) games will be streamed but will have a cost to the viewer watching from home.
Thank you in advance for following these rules and doing your part to help keep our kids safe and playing.
