This website has a lot of information about the FAFSA and has a list of events where people are set up to help complete the FAFSA around the state. Check out their Events page for where and when these are taking place. Some of the events will have computers set up so parents can submit their FAFSA right there.

This website can help understand the different kinds of financial assistance people can get into when trying to pay for college. It also has links to help you understand how to manage all the different kinds of loans. There are even links for scholarship searches.

This website has some blog sites where people have commented and learned from each other about different aspects of the financial aid process. Might be able to find answers to your many questions through this process.
