Wednesday night Mrs. Campbell, KMHS Principal, participated in a panel providing information about the dangers of vaping.

Last week a group of middle and high school students from Kingman and Norwich met with Mr. Wilson for our first Student Advisory Council meeting. Students provided input on a variety of topics including cell phone policies, student well-being & safety, attendance, and class/activity offerings. We greatly appreciate their insights!

As September is suicide awareness month, the USD 331 Counseling Team is proud to roll out a new resource for our district and communities. We are excited to introduce the HELPme app – a 24/7 support system for students, families, and school employees. Please see the attached graphic for more information.

Kingman Elementary is looking for a part time cook. The hours are 7:15 AM-12:45 PM on days that school is in session. Come join our team!

Research shows that starting the day with a good breakfast has many benefits to children! Remember we serve breakfast at all schools each day. All kids are welcome.

IT'S A GREAT DAY! All teachers and staff are back in the buildings today. The NHS Cheer Team and KHS Student Council members greeted everyone bright and early this morning as they arrived. Thank you kids, your energy was contagious this morning.

Mrs. Campbell is busy working with the new KMHS staff members on the Capturing Kids' Hearts program.

We are counting down the days until we welcome kids back into our buildings!

Please note--the USD 331 Board of Education Office has moved. We are now located at 625 N. Spruce Street, at the North end of the Kingman Elementary School building. We have a separate entrance at the far North end.

Do you have an hour a day you could help us make sure our kids get to school and back home safely? Kingman Elementary is seeking a crossing guard.

The hours are 7:30-8:00 AM and 3:30-3:45 PM. Full and part time situations will be considered. Please contact Ryan Creadick at (620) 532-3186.

We are excited to welcome our new teachers and counselors to the district today. They are here meeting colleagues, doing training, and getting prepared for a great year! We can't wait to get our students back in the building next week.

Representatives from the Kingman High School FBLA Chapter presented at the Board of Education Meeting tonight. Members shared about their experiences at the National Conference this summer held in Anaheim, California. They reported they attended many helpful sessions to benefit the club and the members in the future. Club members were very thankful for all the community support they received for their trip. They are looking forward to a very successful year!
