Today we want to recognize our IT team. School IT teams play a critical role in maintaining the backbone of our schools, ensuring uninterrupted teaching and learning through network stability, device management, and cyber security. Their work enables the seamless integration of digital resources in classrooms, directly impacting student engagement, teacher productivity, and school operations.
Thank you Dennis and Richard for all you do for us!

The Student Advisory Council recently met with Mr. Wilson. They discussed what the perfect school district would look like and then did an exercise called “Keep, Improve, Create” where students brainstormed ideas that would help us improve. After all of that hard work, they enjoyed some Houdini’s Pizza! We appreciate their participation and insight!

School crossing guards are vital community heroes who protect children, often working in miserable weather with a smile.
Please join us as we thank them for their dedication to the safety of our students. We appreciate you!

This week we celebrate School Counseling Week. We are so grateful for our AMAZING team --Mrs. Hageman, Mrs. Higgins, Mrs. Munz, Mrs. Talbott and Mrs. Loveland. Whether it's managing emotions, helping students plan for the future, or solving problems, they are here for students, staff and parents. THANK YOU for all you do for us!

School secretaries are essential to school operations--they are truly the "glue" that holds schools together! Their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail are truly appreciated, and we are so grateful to have them on our team. Not only do they take care of all the students, they do so much for our staff and families as well. We appreciate you!

Today kicks off Kansas School Lunch Week! This statewide celebration shines a spotlight on the nutrition professionals who work so hard for our kids each and every day. Local school nutrition programs work tirelessly to provide balanced meals that meet strict state and federal nutrition standards, while also
accommodating student preferences and dietary needs.
Thank you to our amazing nutrition staff who provide so much care and skill in creating school meals that fuel learning and promote healthy habits. We appreciate you!

Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
Due to adverse weather conditions and low wind chill values forecasted for our area, all schools in the district will be closed on Monday (January 26, 2026).
The safety of our students, staff, and families is always our top priority. After careful review of current conditions and weather projections, we determined that operating schools would pose unnecessary risk, particularly during morning transportation and outdoor exposure.
Information regarding athletics and activities will be communicated as early as possible tomorrow, if not sooner. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
Stay warm!

Peoples Bank and Trust is aware of the need in the Community and the struggles many families face. To ease burdens this Christmas, the bank made a generous donation to student lunch account balances at Kingman Elementary, Kingman Middle High School and Norwich Schools. On behalf of our families, thank you!
