Facility maintenance and upgrades may not always grab headlines, but they play a vital role in being responsible stewards of our school facilities. By investing in maintenance, we help keep our facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained for current and future generations of students.
The Kingman track is undergoing a complete overhaul, which includes compacting the sub-base material, due to the deterioration of the asphalt layer. The process will last through the summer, pending weather delays, as the new asphalt will have a 30-day cure time before the running surface can be installed.
With the resurfacing of the Norwich track in the fall of 2024 coupled with this current project in Kingman, athletes and community members in Kingman and Norwich will have access to a quality running surface for years to come.
