The Kingman County Extension Office is offering a "Reading Makes Cents" program on July 13th and 14th for youth ! The workshop will be led by extension office summer interns, Abby Clover and Dawson Wood, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday and to 2:30 pm on Tuesday. This program features lessons and fun activities, including a visit to Citizens' Bank! Please make sure to pack your own meal, as lunch will not be provided. All funds raised go to the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. The Chamber provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors.

2026 State Assessment Highlights
We’re excited to celebrate the outstanding results from this year’s Kansas Assessment Program! These achievements reflect the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork of our students, families, and staff throughout the school year.
Every score represents hours of learning, encouragement, and hard work — and we couldn’t be more proud of what our students have accomplished.
Thank you to our teachers, support staff, and families for the role you play in helping our students succeed every day. Together, we continue to create opportunities for growth and achievement for all learners.
Scores are reported by performance levels. A level 1 is the lowest score, a level 4 is the highest score. Our goal is to reduce the number of students scoring at level 1, and move students to higher levels of learning.
