The high school JV football game vs Attica/Argonia on Monday, October 12th has been canceled.
Today, the Junior Class unloaded 700 plants as part of their fall fundraiser—and in the process, they set a NEW RECORD for sales since we started this fundraiser! 🎉
WAY TO GO, JUNIORS!! 👏👏
A huge THANK YOU to all of the families, friends, and community members who supported our students by purchasing plants. Every purchase helps our Junior Class raise money to put toward Prom this spring, and we truly appreciate your continued support of our students and their activities. We also want to give a big shout-out to Stutzman's out of Hutchinson for another year of providing us with beautiful plants and for working with us throughout this fundraiser.
And one more thing we want to brag about… 🦅
After the delivery driver returned to Hutchinson, we received a message from our Stutzman's representative with some high praise for our students!
The driver specifically mentioned how well-mannered, respectful, and helpful our students were while unloading the plants. He was impressed with how everyone worked together and helped get the job done.
That is something to be proud of, Eagles!
Selling 700 plants is an accomplishment, but showing others what kind of students and young people we have at Norwich makes us even prouder.
Way to represent Norwich, Juniors! We are proud of you!

Tonight's MS football game at Central Christian has been canceled due to current field conditions and projected forecasts. We are working on a date to reschedule and will provide further updates once we know more.
Mrs. Hardaway’s Culinary classes were selected to participate in King Arthur’s Bake for Good program! Each student will have the opportunity to bake a loaf to keep and a loaf to give to someone else.
King Arthur Flour provides the ingredients, along with a cookbook and dough scraper for students to take home. We’re honored to be part of this program, which combines hands-on learning with giving back.
We can’t wait to share what our students bake—and the kindness that goes with it! ❤️

🦅 Eagle Impact Award
Today, we had the chance to recognize two people who make a difference at Norwich Schools every single day - Mr. Sanders and Mrs. Lyons!
Mr. Sanders keeps things running behind the scenes and is always willing to jump in, help solve a problem, and make sure our staff and students have what they need.
Mrs. Lyons brings the same kind of impact to our youngest Eagles. Her care, energy, and dedication to her kindergarten students help make their first year of school a special one.
Different roles, different ways of serving, but the same thing in common - they make an impact. And that's exactly what the Eagle Impact Award is all about. 🦅
Thank you, Mr. Sanders and Mrs. Lyons, for everything you do for our students, staff, and school community. We are lucky to have you!
Make an impact. Be an Eagle. ❤️🖤

Norwich Homecoming Week Activities
Saturday, our SADD members traveled to Kingman to participate in the county’s Mental Health Awareness Run. We were so proud to have 14 students join us for this important event! These students chose to give up part of their weekend to come together, walk alongside others in our community, and show their support for something that truly matters. .We are incredibly proud of each of them for recognizing the importance of mental health awareness, supporting one another, and helping break the stigma surrounding mental health.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this event. It is encouraging to see our students step up, get involved, and make a difference in our community! 🩵💜
Way to go, SADD!

Did you know that Mr. Lohrman has taught K–12 art for an incredible 38 years? And the crazy thing is, that might not even be his most impressive achievement!
Mr. Lohrman can reportedly do a one-armed push-up—a feat that sounds impressive enough on its own. But apparently, that's just the beginning.
Not only can Mr. Lohrman perform a one-armed push-up, but he also built his own airplane, starting the project right in his basement. On a cool Saturday evening, if you happen to look up at the sky, you might even catch Mr. Lohrman taking his homemade aircraft out for a joy ride.
And then there are the rumors.
Some say Mr. Lohrman has climbed Mount Everest barefoot.
Is it true? Nobody really knows.
But after 38 years of teaching, building an airplane in his basement, and casually doing one-armed push-ups, I'm not sure anyone would be surprised if it were.
