This award is a regional competition where four elementary and four secondary teachers are selected from each region for a total of 32 teachers in Kansas. As a recipient, Mrs. Walter will join the Kansas Exemplary Educator Network (KEEN) and will be recognized during a luncheon at the conference in February.
