Today our 8th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade students participated in Reality U. This simulation gave students the opportunity to experience what life might be like at age 26 based on their answers to a survey they took ahead of time. They earned a paycheck based on their career of choice and were then tasked with visiting different booths to pay their housing, transportation, childcare, food, insurance and student loan bills. Unexpected life events occur and they also must prepare for retirement! It's safe to say kids had a great time and learned a lot! A big thanks goes out to the USD331 counseling department and community volunteers who made this happen. #331Proud #RealityU
