An email and text message was sent this morning regarding our intent to have school tomorrow. Our systems utilize the emails and phone numbers on your Skyward accounts. Please double check your contact info or reach out to our school's office for assistance if you didn't receive the email or text message,

For reference, the message was as follows:
Dear Parents and Guardians,

At this time, we plan to have school as scheduled tomorrow, Friday, January 23, 2026. Current forecasts indicate that snow is not expected to impact our area until Friday night.

We will continue to closely monitor the weather conditions, including predicted wind chill factors for tomorrow. Student and staff safety remains our top priority.

If it becomes necessary to delay or cancel school, we will communicate that information promptly through email, TalkingPoints, and the district’s social media channels. Information regarding activities and athletics will be communicated through the same channels.

January is School Board Member Appreciation Month, and we extend our sincere thanks to our school board members for their service, dedication, and leadership. Their work in governing our schools and advocating for students is essential and often takes place behind the scenes. We are grateful for the many hours of unpaid time they give to ensure strong schools and bright futures for our students and community.

The 54 classic schedule has changed due to the impending weather. There will be no games on Friday or Saturday. The semi-final games will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) and the finals will take place on Thursday. Thursday's game times will be 3:30, 5:00, 6:30, & 8:00pm. Our game times will be released as they become available. Boys will continue to play in Skyline and the girls will continue to play in Cunningham.

The Kingman County Spelling Bee is on Thursday, January 22nd. It will begin at 9am. The B-division will go first and the A-division will follow.
