Please help us welcome Kelli Ast (Awe-st) to the teaching staff at Norwich Middle-High School. Kelli will be serving students in grades 7-12 as a special education teacher.
Kelli feels fortunate to have had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom/wife for 8 years before going back to teaching. She taught at Conway Springs High School as the 9-12 Business teacher for the past 3 years. She recently completed her Masters degree in Special Education and is looking forward to utilizing it as a Special Education teacher at Norwich. Kelli, her husband and four children, live just a few miles outside of Norwich. Their children have attended Norwich since Pre-School. They will be in Kindergarten, 1st, 5th and 6th grade during the 2021-2022 school year. Kelli's time outside of work includes spending time with her family. She and her husband are both actively involved in watching/coaching their kids in rec sports. They stay busy on their farm with dairy goats, chickens, guineas, cats, dog, riding horses when possible and gardening. The Ast's also enjoy serving the Norwich community by owning and operating Redz Restaurant. Kelli hopes to make a difference in her students' lives by teaching them strategies to be successful in life, helping them to see their strengths and possibly help them decide what they would like to do with their lives after high school. She will strive to have any type of positive influence she can to help them succeed in life.
Welcome to #TeamNorwich Kelli! #GoEagles
